Bush

George Bush is either digging a hole, or climbing out of it.

History will tell whether his choice to "fight back" (using terms of argument that he's been using all along, "Democrats are sending the wrong message to our troops.") instead of doing a shake up of his administration (which would be a wise move) will pay off.

My bet is that he is digging himself deeper. And to hear him actually addressing charges of misleading and mishandled intelligence is stunning.

Everybody knows that we were told there was WMD in Iraq. There wasn't.

In regards to "fight back" no one is going to buy this rhetoric of continuing the status quo.

To hear Bush being associated with the word intelligence is stunning. To hear him pronounce the word is something he can only dream of. He is not addressing charges of misleading and mishandled source material. He is spinning it per Rove's suggestion. The american people are becoming increasingly disgusted by this approach.

Everybody knows that we were told there was WMD in Iraq. There wasn't. And even a child of five knows when you're wrong, you do what you can to fix it. He won't.
