Yolanda Denise King, 1955-2007

Sad news today.
Yolanda King, the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s eldest child who pursued her father's dream of racial harmony through drama and motivational speaking, collapsed and died. She was 51.

"She was an actress, author, producer, advocate for peace and nonviolence, who was known and loved for her motivational and inspirational contributions to society," the King family said in a statement. -AP wire

Yolanda Denise King was the eldest daughter of MLK. She experienced the bomb even though she was just a baby at the time. It is so sad to see another mimber of the King family die so soon. I will keep them in prayer. May she rest in peace.
